Article summary

Summary

After ticket selection is made in the Event Details Page (EDP), the fan enters the Checkout process. This is where the fan chooses their delivery options (electronically delivered, mailed, etc.) and payment information (credit cards, vouchers, etc.) The page also displays information like fees, taxes, and payment total.

Features

What shows on the checkout page would depend on the backend configurations, but the basics are a summary of tickets selected, delivery methods, payment information, and the payment amount. There are other components that might show, if applicable to the particular ticket selection, such as a countdown timer (so the fan doesn't hold on to the selected tickets indefinitely without completing the transaction) or a ticket insurance option (so the fan has protection for not being able to attended the event under certain circumstances).

How to Create One

The good news is: you don't have to! If the fan made a selection in the Events Detail Page (EDP), the Purchase framework will automatically start the Checkout process without requiring the integrating app to do anything in addition.

Next Step in the Flow

Once the fan decides to place the order, and the purchase goes through successfully, they will be shown the Order Confirmation page.
