Detailed Release Notes - Release iOS 3.10.0 (01/10/2025)
Overview
This release includes an enhanced Safetix 2.0 product which strengthens the barcode encryption even further. This release also includes a variety of fixes primarily focused in Ticketmaster's Microflex market and introduction of new counties within that market (SE, DK, BE, ZA, AT, DE, NO, FI, NL, CZ, PL, CH, ES, UAE).

External Dependencies: SwiftProtobuf
As of version 1.12.0+, SecureEntry SDK also requires the Apple SwiftProtobuf library. This library should be added automatically to your project if you use SwiftPackageManager or CocoaPods.

Features, Improvements & Support
Enhanced Safetix 2.0 encryption
- The Safetix 2.0 encryption update will be rolled out venue by venue, with version 3.10.0 being the minimum requirement to enable the feature. While there are no changes to the user experience, you will notice a visual difference between the pre-update and post-update states (illustrated as A & B in the image below).
- Client representatives will work closely with venue teams to enable Safetix 2.0 following the successful integration of version 3.10.0.
Safetix 1.0 extension to 3rd Party Allocation ticket platforms
- In addition to the Safetix 2.0 encryption update, this SDK version expands Safetix 1.0 to include our 3rd Party Allocation partners, where previously only QR codes were supported.
Host Upgrades beta offering for designated client testing
- Beta clients will have the opportunity to test the initial version of Ticketmaster Host Upgrades for events, venues, and tickets configured to allow upgrades. Fans will see an Upgrades module, similar to the Archtics Upgrades module, guiding them through a seamless process to explore and consider upgrade options. Upon purchase, their current tickets will be replaced with the newly purchased upgraded tickets. This feature will be scaled beyond beta at a later date TBD.
3rd Party Event updates for ticket display requirements in Maryland & Minnesota.
- Adjustments have been made to comply with legislative changes in Maryland and Minnesota regarding the display of section, row, and seat information for 3rd Party Event tickets. This update affects only the Ticketmaster App and will not impact display functionality on client or venue apps.
Introduction of Microflex market transfer (SE, DK, BE, ZA, AT, DE, NO, FI, NL, CZ, PL, CH, ES, UAE)
- Ticketmaster's Microflex market can now enable transfer for client, venue, and team apps.
Various fixes for issues like incorrect purchase times, missing translations, event loading errors, and UI improvements.
- Transfer count is one bug fix which improves the fan's display for tansferred tickets by correcting the miscount displayed below. Counts have not be corrected.
