Overview

SDK 3.18.0 release is not a forced or required update.
Version 3.18.0 includes enhancements to ticket management, including a configurable client app redirect, third-party fulfillment support, and ParkWhiz integration, a customizable mobile ticket image for the barcode page, expanded Ignite Modules support for Android and Host events, and consistent error messaging across platforms.

Feature Breakdowns

Ticket Barcode Page

Mobile Ticket Image
Give your fans a polished, on-brand ticket experience consistent with their wallet passes. You can now upload a custom vertical image for the ticket barcode page in TM1. When configured, it replaces the default horizontal tiled background on the V2 tickets page, matching the visual quality of Apple and Google Wallet passes. If no custom image is provided, the SDK falls back to the existing horizontal event image.

Ticket Management

Drive App Adoption with App Redirect
When fans access their Host tickets through the Ticketmaster app, you can now promote your branded app and prompt them to continue there instead. When enabled, a banner on the Order Details page encourages them to continue in your app, giving them access to all their tickets alongside the personalized, tailored experiences you've built.

This is ideal for fans who may be more familiar with going to the Ticketmaster app first. The redirect surfaces your app at a high-intent moment, helping drive adoption and keeping fans engaged within the experience you've created.

This is available for Host and Microflex tickets only. To enable, reach out to your Ticketmaster local support team. Your app links and app name can be added separately within the Discovery tool.

Custom SMS Messaging for Transfer + Assign (Archtics)
Your custom SMS messages (configured in Account Manager CMS) now display for transfers and assigns initiated through the SDK, not just Account Manager. The SDK automatically selects the message based on the fan's device language, supporting English, French-Canadian, and Mexican Spanish, and falls back to default messaging when no custom message is configured.

This ensures your fans receive consistent, on-brand messaging regardless of where the transfer or assign is initiated.

ParkWhiz Parking Ticket Management (Archtics)
ParkWhiz is an online service that allows your fans to purchase parking options outside of your standard parking inventory. If a fan purchases a ParkWhiz upsell through Account Manager or the Extras tab within your app, they will now see a dedicated parking ticket view when managing their tickets post-purchase. Rather than a standard ticket card, fans see the ParkWhiz label, their parking section details, and a link to retrieve their pass via their ParkWhiz confirmation email or the ParkWhiz website. ParkWhiz tickets are excluded from transfer and resale flows.

To enable ParkWhiz, please reach out to your account team.

Resale Edit Listing (Host US & CA)
Fans with active Host North America ticket listings can now edit their listing directly within the SDK. Previously, the edit option was only available for Archtics tickets. The SDK will now surface an edit button (via webview) for Host listings as well, providing a consistent resale management experience across event types.

Third-Party Primary (3PP) Fulfillment Delivery Methods
When a venue fulfills tickets outside of Ticketmaster, your fans now see the corresponding delivery message on the Order Details page. The main View Tickets button is suppressed when no scannable barcodes are available. This ensures your fans always know how to access their tickets and expands your ability to onboard venues that manage ticket delivery themselves.

Transfer + Assign Confirmation Toast (Android)
On Android, fans now see a confirmation toast message immediately after initiating a transfer or assign via the email flow, matching the existing behavior for phone number transfers. This gives your fans immediate confirmation that their ticket movement is underway, reducing uncertainty and support contacts.

Modules

I Got In (Android)
Your fans on Android can now share that they're going to an event directly from the ticket preview page on the Ticketmaster app. When viewing Host or Microflex tickets, fans see an "I Got In" module with a Share You're Going call to action. Tapping it generates a shareable ticket-like image that fans can save or share across social platforms. This drives social visibility for your events and gives your fans a safe, enjoyable way to share what they're looking forward to. This feature was previously available on iOS only.

Account Group Segmentation for Ignite Modules (Host)
Account group segmentation configured in the CMS will now apply to Host event cards within your app in addition to Archtics, ensuring consistent module behavior across all event cards regardless of event type. This gives you the flexibility to define your own fan groups and display tailored module content to each group accordingly, personalizing the in-app experience in whatever way makes sense for your fanbase.

Custom Modules View Analytics (Android)
The SDK now fires an analytics event when any custom module scrolls fully into view on the My Tickets page on Android, capturing the module ID and event ID as metadata. This brings Android into parity with existing analytics behavior, giving you visibility into how your fans engage with the modules so you can make informed decisions about placement and content.

For information on module reporting, please reach out to your app provider.

General

SDK Error Message Standardization
If something goes wrong, your fans will now see plain-language guidance, not raw API codes or HTTP status errors. Error messages are standardized across Android and iOS for a variety of error scenarios, covering event list, account suspended, my tickets, and all transfer/assign flows. Retry instructions are consistent, and the logout option only appears when the error is authentication-related.
